Arlington, VA. (August 15, 2008) — Rosetta Stone® is kicking off the back-to-school season by celebrating Global Voices. From August 15 to October 31, educators who purchase the award-winning Rosetta Stone Classroom software will receive a Global Voices kit, a multi-media package designed to create a school-wide celebration of languages and cultures.
Each Rosetta Stone Global Voices kit highlights three distinct languages and cultures that encourage students to learn more about the world around them. The multi-media kits, each valued at $500, include an event planning guide, classroom materials such as posters and maps, and classroom activities spanning multiple disciplines and grade levels so the whole school can get involved.
Rosetta Stone will include a personalized school banner for each participating school to hang with pride in the front hallway or library to spread the word about the school-wide Global Voices activity event. Rosetta Stone will also send a digital camera for educators to record how their institutions use the Global Voices kit to create their own celebration.
“Rosetta Stone is the industry leader in language-learning software, and we’re pleased to help students across America learn about the power of communication across cultures,” said Rosetta Stone CEO Tom Adams.
Rosetta Stone Classroom Version 3 incorporates seamlessly into a teacher’s overall language-learning curriculum. Utilized for both world language and English as a Second Language (ESL) learning, Rosetta Stone adeptly complements classroom teaching expertise. It features engaging, voice-driven technology and management capabilities that maximize the effectiveness of language-learning programs.
